For this project, I worked closely with a client who owns two luxurious villas in Falassarna and two cozy apartments in Kissamos, located in the stunning region of Crete. The primary objective was to modernize their website with a fresh, contemporary design and optimize it for user experience and search engine visibility to attract potential guests searching for premium holiday rentals in Crete.
Key Deliverables:
Custom WordPress Theme:
- Designed and developed a fully custom WordPress theme to match the client’s brand and appeal to their target audience.
- The design emphasizes a clean and inviting aesthetic, showcasing the beauty of the accommodations and the natural surroundings.
Advanced Plugins:
- Image-Enriched Submenu Plugin: Created a custom plugin enabling the client to add images to submenu items, improving navigation and visual appeal.
- Seasonal Pricing Plugin: Developed a tailored plugin for managing seasonal pricing for villas and apartments, allowing the client to adjust rates based on demand and season with ease.
Dynamic Content:
- Highlighted the unique features of the villas and apartments with dedicated sections, including descriptions, pricing, and booking options.
- Integrated customer testimonials to inspire and engage potential visitors.
Booking Request Form:
- Added a sleek, functional booking form for seamless inquiries, simplifying the reservation process for users.
Outcome:
The new website is responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly, effectively showcasing the client’s accommodations while providing robust tools to manage pricing and bookings. The redesign positions the business as a top choice for travelers seeking premium holiday rentals in Crete.
